funny, it has stirred up a bit of a controversy here -- the SF art critic called it an exhibition of "knick knacks" but I love the giant glass chandeliers. Even better, the outdoor installations he's done in rivers & the woods.
"Knick knacks"? Ouch! I should be so lucky to have knick knacks such as these. I love lots of Chihuly's stuff (and not just because he's from Wisconsin!).
Chihuly clarification: husband informs me that Chihuly isn't from WI, as in born here, but did important work here at the University and pioneered a glass program. I'm nuthin if not occasionally accurate :)

I still can't decide if I like his stuff, but in some ways it is so magnificent.
